Can we be more accurate when talking about Chinese products?

I purchased a Chinese Vinyl Cutter. It was a fraction of the cost of one made in Europe or America. It gets used abused, runs for most of the working day and does things it really shouldn't. Its still running after 3 years. It has been that good I'm looking to buy another larger machine......again for almost peanuts compared to the other makes. Its a "no brainer" really.

Taiwan of course makes quite a few very high quality luxury yachts.
Some European brands have their yachts built in China.

Cheoy Lee - who produced absolutely beautiful yachts - were based in Hong Kong. They now make millionaires playthings, and are based (I think) in Macao. A Cheoy Lee yacht is a thing of beauty; it's a shame they don't make them any more.
