Can I get to Geneva via the canals / rivers?

Essential measurements are LOA, beam, draft and airdraught. I recommend the latest edition of Imray's Map of Inland Waterways of France & the Low Countries.

The Swiss aren't into canals for some reason (?) but the navigable Rhone takes you within 50 km, as does the Rhone-Rhine Canal. No obvious access to Lac Geneve but RIBS or canoes might penetrate the upper reaches of the river.

Try Google for Lake Geneva/navigation etcet - interesting reading.

The Rhone out of Lake Geneva flows at an incredible rate. I think it would be extremely dangerous or even illegal to attempt it.

I said there was interesting reading available - bit boring to quote thousands of cubic litres per hour when white water rafting is more likely!
