That's certainly the case for my propane set up. A normal Camping Gaz uses a 28mb regulator; my weedkilling torch uses a 0 to 1 bar regulator. You can get tap connectors that work at cylinder pressure, but I don't know how you would connect a high pressure hose to the blowlamp fitting.
