Camping Gaz 907 refills

I see no reason why not, although mine with reg is roughly 200mm high and the one you linked to is 320mm.
Are you sure? That made me get the tape measure out and my 907 bottle is 240mm without the regulator. About 300mm with regulator fitted … I agree though that it might not fit in the locker though as their regulator seems taller than the Camping Gaz one.

does anyone know a good source for these please? (preferably near Leeds) - they're pricey at the petrol stations...

also after another cannister but cheapest I've found is £50 empty!
One would have cost you £55 in Benderloch today! Luckily the kind proprietor had a 4.5 calor refill for me , phew.

This is one of mine, maybe not a 907? This JUST fits my gas locker.

Thats a 904 dumpy cylinder. £50!!! Wow

I'd be cutting out the old locker and glass in a new one. Pay for itself in no time.

Wish I could - see post# 13 ? Wasn’t £50 though and I’ve got 3 cylinders, only one full though and they don’t last that long.

And don’t call me ‘dumpy’……;)

I have the French gas locker that only takes 907 bottles as well … I’ve seen these refillable ones advertised. Does anyone know if you can just take one in the boot of your car to a garage to be refilled? I suspect not. But I’m not sure.

It is not technically illegal to refill a free standing bottle with Autogas but many stations will not allow it. The reason quoted is that staff are not trained to deal with any incidents. You might drop lucky and have no problems but you could be refused.

People do but most garages will not allow it - the systems are designed to refill cars or fixed systems in MoHo’s. I have a Gasit system and it’s quite ‘exciting’ disconnecting the fill hose - I would not like to try it on a small cylinder.

I have a Gaslow system in mine. I have been reading that in Italy it is not allowed to use these systems, and since most Autogas is dispensed by an attendant there seems to be no way around it.
