Hello there YBW knowledgeable YBW members. I'm currently renovating a Nic 36 "Wayfarer of Emsworth" She's a great boat but has suffered some rot in the decks mainly in the aft section where the water like to collect and sit. I have begun the removal of the aft deck sections and have removed all the deck fittings including the toe rail and genoa track. I'm struggling to find a uk supplier of quarter inch bronze rod to remake all the fasteners that were custom fabricated when she was built, I have to make a tool to form the heads on the counter sunk dome headed fasteners if I can find the stock. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance

This seems to easy ? I just googled ¼" bronze bar and got results. 10' to 12' lengths.
Bronze Rod And Bar Stock Available For Dispatch - Metal Supplies
thanks for this, I think I'm looking for silicon bronze C65500 specification. I nearly got some from TAW Fastners but they emailed to say they had no stock and we're unlikely to get any in the near future. I'm not a boatbuilder of any description and it's difficult to know what is the best bronze or most suitable for application, I'm not sure phosphur bronze is what I need, but thanks for replying.
