great stuff,hypalon..used an achilles inflatable for 6 years in the persian gulf, even for shark fishing(yep,in a 3 metre, with a mariner 5..sometimes got the nantucket sleigh ride stuff before i cut the beasties free..)even in 45c+the fabric was fine..so,i was pleased to be given a banana yellow campari, for a scruffy harbour tender.."just needs new valves,"said my benefactor, disappearing into the devon sunset...ho ho ho,now i know why you see all those valveless camparis residing in marina skips like hypalon sea anemones, apparently noone makes the valves anymore..!

So use it to make patches - stick them on a perfectly sound tender so that local theives think it is old and tatty and nick the next one to it. Just a thought.

Re:It was MY suggestion

And just to help the 'party' ..... I've been doing this with many things .... BUT ..... who says you have to use CAMPARI valves ?
I paid an inflatable agent £40 to replace all valves in another hypalon inflatable .... they were the latest avon style and very nice thank-you ! I sold the tender on with the boat and as far as I know the later owner is still using it. OK so the inflatable agent might not want to do it and give a load of excuses etc. But you are the Client and YOU decide !
