Calarifier take off points on a perkins 4.108

Hi I am trying to connect a calarifier to my Perkins 4.108. I am thinking the plug to the left of the temperature sensor on the head sere picture 1? Any thoughts?
And return in the rigid tube on left of picture 2.

Can’t get 2nd picture but your delivery should be from out would circulation side of water pump before thermostat and return to on the cool side return of exchanger.
