What material does the forum recommend for lining the cabin in my grp cruiser, I want a wood veneer finish, maybe sapele, should this be marine grade?
or will wbp be ok? I have plenty of marine ply, but even stained, it does look a bit bland and dated.

oh!!! i know i'm going to get slated...

but without knowing the style of your boat, my preferred internal lining is tongue and groove pine (aka B&Q T&G cladding) but oiled or waxed to prevent condensation. it looks great but only in older type boats. in a more modern boat the same but given a mat/silk white or light coloured finish, again to reduce condensation...(i'm reliably informed that it only happens on shiney or gloss surfaces)

but what do i know?

regards, steve.
