Its time for the CA fleet to be upgraded (Currently Sealine S34), budget circa 200k (including current boat)
We both like Sports Cruisers and will be boating in the Solent/UK so a hard top would be very good. We (well importantly SWMBO) like light interiors and the modern fabrics so we are looking no older than 2007 [or older and re upholstering]. We’ve come to like Fairline's build quality and ride in general but feel we should also widen our search but should be 40 something in length.
Use to Legs, but have experience on shafts and very limited on IPS [but was easy to drive boat]
Like 2 heads, + space for small rib

We’ve looked at Targa43 (+ use spare cash for something else), T38Open, T44GT[ips] or possibly an older T47GT

I would value your feedback particularly if you have experience of the above or made similar choices

If budget allows I'd get a T47 GT - quality. Otherwise I would have the T44, however a late T43 (I owned one and loved it - some had a light coloured maple interior) would get you just as much fun on the water especially with 74/75Ps in it. and a few quid left for fuel and toys. If you go in the T43 direction there are bargains in the med.

Thank you both, looked at a few T47s and to get the interior we like its 2008 or newer and thus nearer 300 than 200 as Whitelighter has mentioned. I'm not sure about the french boat's style/finish a good friend has a Prestige 42 but will go a look at a few for now the T44 keeps coming up to the top of the list.

T44 a nice boat but do get middel to big engines in it and with a bow thruster.
t43 are cracking boat, one of my favourites, great hull.
T47 nice boats but noises if you run with roof closed.
some of the sealine S41/S42 are great boats, feel much bigger than they are.
good luck with the boat hunt.

One of the Targa options or Sealine S42 would get my vote. Would be careful about an S41 because of one or two issues with that model but as powerskipper says they feel very big and the accommodation is superb.
