I need to get a card from My Navman 5500 that covers the solent. I understand that it uses a C-map, however what is the difference between a C-Map NT and a C-Map Max, I don't want to spend money and get the wrong one. I understand that you can by cards for specific areas but not too sure on the diiference in cards. My manual just says use a C-map Card.

The Max version has more features I believe. That's the only difference as far as I'm aware so either should be ok in your plotter.

Hi Lionelz
I have a 2004 C-Map card for the solent from my old Navman 5500i (integral antenna) which you can have for a nominal contribution to Help for Heroes. It is quite old and some buoys may have moved but the coast is unlikely to

PM if you want it

Donation has been made and thank you :) I only hope they have not moved the coastline. I will be gutted if they have. I really want it as a back up as I like the old fashioned charts and I have navionics, but one can never be to safe
