C-MAP PC planner show deal

One of the things we needed to buy at the boat show was a C-MAP pc planner package and card reader for our trip.
Normal discounted cost seems to be a little over £120 but they were doing a deal at the show and if you join their C-MAP club then you get the kit free!
Cost of joining the club for one year is about £89 ( If I remember correctly ) and as well as the plotter you get one update on a C-MAP chart and 15% off future purchases.
Was a good deal for us as we need a chart updating and need to buy a chart for the other side of the Atlantic soon.
No connection with the company but thought other forumites might find the deal interesting if they are looking at the PC kit.

Agreed. Was there yesterday and found it cheaper than paying for a chart upgrade. I found before that buying charts from a retailer was a lot cheaper than direct from Jeppeson though.

Can anyone tell me is this an exclusive boatshow deal from a dealer or do you get the pc planner by joining the c-map Jeppeson club direct ,as I am unable to attend the show and would like their ps planner for home use

You only need to join "Club Jeppersen".

99 Euro + VAT for 1 year (Silver) - includes 1 chart update and the PC Planner and dongle.
199Euro + VAT for 3 years (Gold) - includes 3 chart updates and PC Planner and dongle.

It's a good deal. I joined by email after returning from the show and the PC planner was delivered from Italy by DHL 2 days later. very good.
The charts will be updated next in March so it is best to wait until after that time to have your chart chip updated.
