C-map and laptop

The Australian software looks interesting, and I notice there's a French reseller. I shall have to talk to the C-map people at the Southampton Boat SHow.

Google Earth: some places have very poor resolution, and looking at Karlskrona, that seems to be one of them. The fault is at Google's end, I'm afraid.

Google Earth can be very useful if you're visiting somewhere you've never been before. No substitute for a chart, but if you haven't a pilot book, it's very handy.
Not sure exactly what being a reseller of SOB means, but PRS Communications in Harwich are one, and are also agents for CMAP, Navionics, Garmin etc so might be a good source of joined-up advice about it all.
