buying scam?

bankers drafts

I may not be up to date on clearing bank practice but i thought a UK bank wouldn't accept an instruction to stop a draft, once it had been issued? (unless you actually physically return the draft to them)

That was the scam they copied the original and then returned it to the bank cancelling it, then returned to me with the copy There was so much of this going on at the time. The banks have now stopped people from buying drafts unless they hold an account, but villans always find a new route no matter what.
