You must have money to burn, or be a sucker for punishment. I never thought myself a masochist but for all the pleasure derived I must have masochistic tendencies.
I’m a PBO and DIY if possible, but that sounds cheaper than running our ageing boat. Maybe I’ll get some kettle bells.A couple we are good pals with are both into crossfit and the like, spend a combined £200ish + a mth running about and doing weights etc with kettle bells and rubber bands, they love it and good on them! Like alot of others they tell me that boats are expensive, all the while spending 2.5Kpa keeping fit when they could go for a run every day for free!?
Takes all sorts but i think Im getting a better deal for my money
Have you de calcified your engine yet?Buying a boat has been, without a shadow of a doubt, the most beneficial thing to my mental health I’ve ever done. Without the boat (and Radio 4) I wouldn’t last long! It doesn’t matter what sort of bleak post-work mood I’m in, when I step on that boat it vanishes. Stuff to do.
