I posted this in the SCM Chat forum with no luck. Just posting here per chance someone is holidaying in the SCM area in early July….

We took delivery of our new, to us, boat last year with the intention for the broker to provide a skipper for 2 days to help with orientation, handling etc etc. For various reasons, including the replacement of 2 huge exhaust elbows under warranty, which weren’t fitted until Feb this year, the broker is struggling to find a skipper and have asked for me to see if I can locate one myself, with the skipper invoicing them direct.
I have Day Skipper, ICC VHF certificates and this is our third boat in SCM in 7 years, but I don’t want to pass up the opportunity of some own boat tuition, especially as this is our first boat on shafts (Fairline Targa 52).
I will start contacting schools in Tarragona and Barcelona, but before doing so wanted to give a suitably qualified berthholder / bertholders family member the opportunity
A perfect date for us will be the 4th July
