Got to be honest Haydn I always thought he was an incredibly old American comedian who always appeared in public smoking a huge cigar. Although someone did tell me that was George Burns. And the sweaty's celebrate the birthday of some Jewish bloke, Rabbi Burns. Still don't see what he's got to do with the sweaty's either.

Reminds me of football team losing 27 - nil who fluke a last minute goal and then insist on doing lap of honour.

I've been in bed with something called Winter Vomiting Virus which has been doing the rounds so I missed this thread. The disease appears to have been invented at the Victoria Infirmary in Glasgow and is particularly effective. The BUPA site says it is characterised by vomiting and diahorreah of the projectile variety and that it lasts for 48 Hours. That description is accurate except for the last bit as I have been floored since Friday. In the "what to do about it" section it says nothing about how to deal with the two symptons when they are happening simultaneously. My old Fairline Mirage had the answer as you could hang your head over the sink whilst sitting on the loo.

However I have been bearing my illness stoically and with great courage.
