I mmm wonder why she is just anchored off Cowes at the mo.

Quite often she has royalty on board during cowes week....

Hasn't princess Annie been in cowes the last few days

I think if you look close in the pix she is flying the royal standard from the middle mast.... So I guess royalty is on board and no wreck off cowes yet this week.

The Royal standard would indicate that the Queen was on board.

If the Princess Royal is onboard then her Standard would be flown

Unusual for a wreck buoy to be uncovered on the tender as the colours suffer badly from UV. But they each carry one of them all the time for quick deployment.

Looks like the ship we spotted when on passage to Dartmouth a little while ago. A small helicopter landed on the aft end-We wondered what such a small one was doing so far from land. Now we know-Buoy spotting!

Anyone know what the two bouys are a couples of miles west of Needles Fairway? Yellow ones, 100 mtrs apart, something in the water in between them.

Not marked on my chart (which is a bit out of date!)
