Bunch of boaters got right on my t'ts the other night

It is also antisocial to remove tables from the paying public all night when there is a demand for them, and how many times have we all seen reserved tables not used all night because people do not turn up, and not bother to cancel. It takes but one phone call.

Many publicans are now trying to disband such practices, the reason? a table is reserved and the occupants do not turn up until late, the same table could already have been used once or twice earlier in the evening.

The solution is very simple, if the table is reserved for a specific time then state that from that time it is reserved, up until then it is available. One local hostelry has already adopted such a practice, and it works, the reservation time is marked, and the same table can have two or three uses prior to the reservation time.

All thats needed is a little consideration and common sense, but then again, common sense appears to be uncommon these days.
