It is not a new one by the discoloration-even the terminal is discoloured.

It clearly shows a screw mark in the top left screw hole, indicating it has been used.

I have purchased Bosch components in bulk in a previous life. I was 2nd I/C of a major National Auto Electrical service centre.

None looked as poor as that picture.

Just saying..................................

You may possibly be right.

The actual seller is an Amazon associate called whybee-ltd.

As far as I can see Whybee Ltd, is a firm that sells all kinds of products, including toys, slippers, tools, t-shirts and what have you.

I guess they buy up left-over stock and sell it on via Amazon and eBay.

They are not Bosch agents.

Of course anything they sell via amazon can be return if the buyer has any reason to be unhappy with it.

I suppose the easiest thing would be to contact them and ask if this is new and unused, and in its original packaging.
