BUKH DV20 wiring

/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gifCan anyone help does anyone have a wiring diagram for the engine end of the BUKH DV 20 loom or can tell me which number from the joining plug goes to where as my wires were ripped out of the plug by accident while removing the engine for repair

No, not secret or sinister at all!! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif But I don't know how to reduce a Word page to a size small enough to post on here (you couldn't read it if I did!) or how to do it!!

I've got a very ancient photocopied version of the workshop manual that was supplied by Bukh about a century ago and the quality is crap. Thought I'd send it to our friend full size in case it would help. However, I see pvb's done a far better job, so hopefully the chap's problem will be sorted! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

On a related theme, my Bukh DV20 was winterised a few weeks ago. Now she is standing out of the water I have attempted to check battery levels and nothing! No lights or gauges.
The batteries are able to power domestic lights and instruments etc!
On inspection there appears to be a junction block in the engine compartment, a red wire has come loose out of this box but despite being reseated nothing. I haven't stripped the wire and properly reconnected yet as time was short. Are there any fuses behind the ignition panel I should check?
First season with boat so still finding things out.

Any ideas or suggestions?

I will attempt to attach a pdf file. if it doesn't work, PM me and I will send it on.

Gives a complete wiring diagram. My own setup is somewhat customised insofar as I don't have all engine instruments installed. 2 x fuse boxes are shown (exact location depends on your installation I imagine).

Havn't had to investigate my engine wiring so far, but I can give some pointers on electrical fault finding if required.
