Bukh DV10 LME

Does anyone know where I might get the full manual for the Bukh DV10 LME (its the light version, not the normal DV10), ideally at a reasonable price?

I already have the Owners Handbook, which is useful, but not comprehensive.

DV 10 LME

Hi Barry,
I have a DV 10 LME have not located the zinc anode on my LME, can someone explain where it is located and changed.
Also I need a shaft and bush for my water pump which is a Johnson model any ideas.

The zinc anode is fitted as shown on page 177 of the workshop manual. It is located to the rear of the engine on the block on the water pump side behind a brass mounting plug.

Anode and Rocker arm

Hi barry,
contacted Al at Bukh and he informed me that there is no internal zinc anode in the DV 10 LME are we speaking of the same engine?

Have bought some parts from bukh including the rocker arm shaft as there is a little play, do you have any recommendations in changing the shaft , anything in particular that I should be careful with?

I have a DV20, which is pretty similar to the DV10. I am not familiar with the DV10LME and would be guided by Al, who knows all there is to know about Bukh engines. I have not changed a rocker shaft, but the manual gives fairly clear instructions on page C5 for the DV10, hopefully your engine is similar. Best of luck with the job,

Sorry to take so long getting back, I've been away quite a lot recently, and missed the question.

I failed to find the Bukh DV10 LME workshop manual, though I do own the "owner manual". The DV10 LME is a marinised Ruggerini diesel engine, and about half the weight of the standard DV10. Some part are in common, but many are not sadly. I believe Bukh only made 2 marinised engines so I am told.

Bukh UK say they can sell a full DV10 LME manual, about £40 from memory. So far I have resisted. I asked when I was working on the water pump, but they told me that it didn't have that in it in any case!
