The reason for the white diesel is that the boat has just come back from the Med. Whilst there the problem raised its head for the first time. We have just bought it and it did not show up on sea trial or survey.
Since finding the problem the following has been checked. Turbo's, intercooler, new fuel filters, change over of fuel lift pump from stb to port, pump timing and pressure check of injectors.
The injectors have been done today and show a pressure lift off of 145psi ( I beleive they should be around the 225psi mark for theses engines,AD41B's). These are being replaced ready for a trial on Monday.
Fuel lines have been checked and both tanks have run on different engines ie stb on port tank and vicky verky.
Ebbtide marine have taken up the reigns but it very much feels that they are stabbing in the dark IMHO, try something, move on to something else. i don't have a limit less supply of folding stuff so am getting a bit frustrated.
This probably don't help much but I'll keep posts on here giving latest.
