Hi to you all!

I am getting on with my research to find out where my boat was on 31st Dec 1992, so that I can (hopefully) claim my VAT exemption. I have found out that she was laid up at Brotherton's yard at Oreston in Plymouth on the fateful date. Unfortunately, I can't find any contact phone or address for Brotherton's. Any ideas, please?

Print your own ...

I've given up tying to get a mooring receipt for the d****d date for my boat.

I'm thinking of printing my own on faded, creased yellowing paper and cutting a half potato that will give a big official-looking stamp that will convince our continental cousins.

'Forging' one from a boatyard that's gone bust sounds relatively risk free

... of course I am only joking?
