Bronze Prop

Just got back from sanding the bottom of the boat and thought i would polish the prop this year instead of using hard anti-foul on it as normal, thought I would try vasaline...is there an easier way than sanding....lots of build up of junk on it....

Wire brush on an electric drill seems to shift most things

I think I read somewhere that Vaseline is a great causer of corrosion because one of its constituents contributes to electrolysis. Perhaps I dreamed it.

Harald......you are dead right mate should have been in the pub it's one of those jobs you wish you had never started....wandering around the yard with mask, goggles, and the rest of my face blue from the anti foul dust....dont know what I was thinking of......
