Brokers, Pride, Lazy and Apathetic.

Its so true isn't it....

I might have not spent a fortune this time around, but that was intentional to see if the family would all take to sailing..... they have....

So i'll be going back at some point in the not too distant, and i'll be spending far more.... 'cept I won't be going back to that broker....

And ultimately, we intend to retire and liveaboard, selling the house, buying a much smaller house, and stuffing one big load into a really nice big boat...... again, it won't be with the same broker....

Their loss.....

In Hamble, many of them get a chance to play with the new yachts for free. Yacht brokerage is just a way to get a job that lets you keep in with the crowd. I envy the lifestyle ....
Despite all that , I felt that the service I got from Ancasta in Lymington in 1996 buying a £6250 boat was polite, attentive and helpful. They treated me like someone who might come back for a bigger boat.
