Ha! Despite me turning the antenna and hawk around so that it was sheltered/hidden under the mast lying across some pallets at just below waist height, darling daughter walked into the thing and snapped off one of the indicator arms. Extensive searching says you can't buy just the arms so it's the whole wind indicator as spares and the cheapest I've found it is £19.95 +£3.95 postage.

Thank you. I expect she'll put some more pictures up soon. I've arranged for Pete Sanders to cut a new suit of sails for her to go with the roller reefing gear we've just bought her (and the toilet), but I've told her after this she's on her own. The sails she inherited with the boat are really really bad... She's going to buy a tiller pilot and if she gets a little solar panel to keep her battery topped up, then she's got a little (almost go anywhere) cruiser. At least she pays her own mooring fees and insurance... She also paid for the boat originally so It's not all bank of mum and dad.
Me too. I had just replaced the one before that was broken when the mast was down and boat ashore by someone who clearly was in aware ho ho, when I broke the new one putting the mast up.
