I know that there are a few on here that have villas and/or boats in Spain and use the Biscay ferries to get there and back.
Most will know that Brittant Ferries are about to put their new ship into service.
In fact, they are already taking bookings in December on the new ship.
She is called Galicia and is currently on her way from China.
Here's a link to her progress.

do you ever check the design of a liner before embarking or making a decision on which one to use? I'll probably check the cheapest or the one that has avail cabins if it's an overnight trip...

I'm booked on the new Galicia late January 2021 - Covid/brexit permitting.
Need to see what the deal is with taking pets abroad. The UK pet passport scheme stops Jan 1st- may need some sort of export license instead. As yet no-one knows.

We can also follow her on Marinetraffic - they currently only have one photo of her posted.

I posted the Cruisemapper link because both Vesselfinder and Marinrtraffic haven't reported any AIS contacts over the last couple of days.
And that is still the case - at the time of writing this post.
As she gets nearer, both Marinetraffic and Vesselfinder will have better coverage.

I am confused, why does the photo of the Galicia show it leaving Portsmouth harbour and should Brittany ferries have told the Chinese they have a new logo and apart from that its as ugly as sin. Yuck.
