This is quite cool. I like this area, the only thing that for me is a nuisance is the slipway just up from the ATL is such a pain to use!! (trailer boater!)

An excellent repayment, when are you moving to the East Coast? We ended up at Queenborough earlier this year en route from Birdham to Snape (no, we weren't lost, we were going the long way round). We had misunderstood where we could moor for the night in the Swale, it had been a long day and it was late in the evening, the mist was rolling in, you know the score. We were very tired, and very thankful to nick someone's buoy. Couldn't find where we were supposed to pay because the notices on the jetty gave us the impression that we would be scuppered or something if we so much as touched fenders (so we never found the honesty box) and we simply swanned off at first light. Today we bought a plank plaque in lieu of paying an overnight mooring fee and we hope the haven will be there the next time we need it.
