Brighton: what to do/see on a Saturday?

Perhaps walk 3 miles to ...

Perhaps for an excellent breakfast walk along the front to Marrocco's , a 3 mile walk from the marina.

Possibly the only place on the front with excellent cappaccino, a table close to the water and excellent service.

Great ice cream too. Arrive around 9 for a good seat with a water view.

I went to school in Hove with the son (in the early 70s) who may now be the owner if it has stayed in the family. An invite round to tea at his was always good news.

Do visit the Pavilion and maybe there is something worth seeing at Theatre Royal.

The 'King & Queen' large pub just inland of the Pavilion always used to be good, with a lot of live music, interesting building too ( guess who went to the photo college opposite ! ).

There's the multiplex cinema along on the seafront too.

There is a maritime museum believe it or not,in one of the arches under the seafront access from the beach close to the pier.Historic beach fishing boats etc. (The only history the place has until Prince Regent etc arrived). Cheers Jerry
