Sorry to bring bad tidings - Brian Navin, author of several East Coast books which many of us will have on board, has died.

I can't say that I knew much about him but our Dutch pilot is always referred to as our 'Brian Navin' and I sorry to hear this.

Sad news.
I never met him but his books are much prized on my boat.
A remarkable achievement to have visited and written about so many places.
