We (some boats from eastcoastcruising.uk) were there at the weekend and were told we could not have a BBQ, as people often failed to clear up afterwards. One of our party cooked some sausages onboard and we ate them sitting near the pub, along with a big pot of chicken curry that i had cooked.

We have had barbecues on the foreshore before now. Plenty of room if you don't mind a short walk.

We have had a bbq there with about ten of us ( not this year). The marina bar has some tables out so keep away from those.
