Althorne Marine who now have a workshop in the marina are carry some chandlery. Nuts and bolts, boat fixing up and cleaning stuff, anodes etc. Anything they don't have can be delivered the next day.

Excellent I wish them well. There have been time when visiting when I could have used a source of nuts and bolts.

Is it larger than the last one at Bradwell? Used to buy milk and bacon from that one, till it was 'closed for refurbishment'.

If you are talking about the one in the wooden building near the tower (which hasn't been open for 12 years at least) then the answer is no. Much smaller. It is a portable type building next to Precious Marine boat sales office.

Well I was berthed in Bradwell in 2013 and I remember buying milk from the wooden building near the tower. Not quite 12 years!

That was a brief period when the Bradwell village community shop had a go at running a shop at the marina. It didn't last long sadly.

We certainly used that a couple of times when visiting, still the walk to the excellent community shop in the village is very pleasant or you can take the bus, free for us oldies.
