Has anyone else either got one, or know of another one around? Before I bought mine, several publications were quite complimentary about them, "still sought after" was one phrase that I recall, as were "good seakeeping" & "good passagemaker". The 6' headroom did it for me though!
However, while I am very happy with my choice, no-one I have spoken to has ever heard of them. It is an Ian Anderson design, which went on (with modifications) to become the Hurley 27 I believe.
I have sail number 28, which was one of the last to be built in Dartmouth. It is built like the proverbial, so I cannot imagine that they have all faded away/sunk/wrecked or otherwise vanished from the face of.
Anyone out there?
Mike
PS. NO, I am NOT trying to start up an owners club, just a little chat & maybe the reassurance that I am not alone in my choice of black hole!

We have had two in our club at Portishead on the Bristol Channel - Brave Bowman(recently sold) and Marayna. I spent last weekend as a guest on the second at the Bristol Harbour Festival. They are great boats and as you say, built like the proverbial . They have great sailing performance and seakeeping abilities and although a little cramped by modern standards, really are proper little ships. I always reckon that if you look at a boat from a distance and cannot tell how big they are because of lovely lines and good proportions, they are 'right'. So you are definitely not alone!!
