Bow Thruster install... battery up front or not?

reading the installation manual, two batteries maybe an overkill.

"Thrusters are high amperage consumers with instantaneous demands, thus, we
recommend you use maintenance-free “starting” type batteries, with high CCA outputs.
For example: Exide Maxxima 900, 12V, capacity 55Ah / starting current 800CCA."

When a battery is installed right up close to a thruster, is it usual for a battery isolator to be installed too?
Just thinking that it would be awkward to have to remove covers and infill sections each time.

I would say definatley + a correct size fuse.
