Boulters

Just had word (unofficially) that the problem at Boulters is now fixed.

That's good news for me. We will be cruising down river and aim to go through Boulters some time on Saturday. I have a feeling there could be a lot more boats out than there have been over the last few weeks.

Anyone seen the weather forecast for Easter and the following week?

I think there are going to be lots of unregestered boats this weekend . I chased up my licence and after the third time of the phone ringing of i finally got through to be told they are dealing with the back log ten days after recieving them . When i pushed the issue i was told that was ten days after opening them . I think if the EA really are struggling to get the licences out then they will be causing themselves alot more work and delays lock side if the lock keepers are having to fill out forms for everyone who is waiting for a licence .
Anyway i hope this is not the case and everyone has a great weekend . :)

I think only those with a licence on display should be allowed through the locks :D

(Another devious plan to keep the numbers down this weekend)

ten days after handing my application in to the front desk I contacted the E.A who told me it is ten days from when they recieve it as they hadn't got any record of the application they then dait it must have beed lost in the post! after explaining it was handed in over the desk they then said the time starts the following day as it had missed the post arrival time when handed in! With this I asked for the area E.A.manager (not the craft reg manager) I did get his name and number after a lot of instance, two hours later, I had a call back to say it had been located and it was ready, I was then asked would I like to collect it or have it posted out? so go high and get it issued by the weekend.

However due to a slight problem I had on Monday this week
FULL MARKS to the E.A. as by Tuesday they had given me a full refund without me even asking for one
