Somehow, I've missed out on reading any Kipling until now, but decided it was an error I should correct, so found my library ticket and paid a visit.
First one I tackled is 'Captains Courageous', which I'd heartily recommend with great descriptions about fishing under sail on the Grand Banks, in the days when there were fish to be had there. The schooner 'We're Here' spends months at sea, catching and salting cod caught by line from dories.
A good seafaring read, and a good book overall, although, obviously dated.
