bombrake?

Does any of the jester fleet using any bombrake/ preventer? if so what set up?

I used a simple preventer - just a block on a chainplate with a line from the boom back to the cockpit. Found it much more useful/important than coastal cruising - even on a beam reach the rollers caused problems. The conditions eventually caused the boom bail to fail, where the mainsheet holds the boom, and is on my list of things to improve for next time.
