They are crap!
Did it break on the screw in shaft? If so, stick half's together then drill hole up the centre, countersink and screw a self taper up. They won't break again!

Bombard are owned by Zodiac now, and you can get spares from their dealers. I got one from MGA Ltd in Halifax (01706 379669) - cost £5, but it was 3 or 4 years ago.

I called in on Inflatable Boat Services of Penryn, Cornwall, this afternoon on your behalf.

Billy Dickson, the manager, says that if you contact him with the serial number of the boat, he will be able to get the correct type for you. He needs the serial number, as there have been a few different types of rowlock fitted to the AX1 over the years.

He looked in his Bombard book, and it shows a few types, including the type you describe. But he needs the serial number to be certain of the correct rowlock.

His phone number is 01326 313800, fax 01326 313338, and email info@inflatableboatservices.co.uk
