These were taken in 1985 or 86. At that time WP was mostly to be found in Bequia at anchor or up in St Maarten where she was earning her keep be taking trippers out for the day. I was lucky enough to be onboard a few times and she was a lovely boat. Chris B was still boatbuilding under the palm trees on the beach, but was long gone after I returned to Bequia in 2007 after a break of 17 years. I read somewhere that he was back in Australia.

Hi! Q: Have you take this pictures self? And if, are they taken at Bequia Bay or where? My self was on board Water Pearl 1980 with Chris at Bequia. And if you didn't took the pics do you know who?

Had no idea he even sailed. I definitely want to know more ... wonder if there was ever a song about his boat? It would be hilarious if all those awesome folk songs he wrote were just about hit boat, but then that would make him Jimmy Buffett I suppose.

This was in 1992 when in the army locals told us this was Bob Dylan's boat
