I am looking for a boatyard in southern spain or Portugal where I can take my yacht out. She is 44 feet and 20 ton ferro cement. Ideally reasonable price and I can work myslef

Hiya. We used Isla Verde in Algecieras quite a bit. Can handle anything and is the customs free zone so no extra taxes. VAT in uk, IVA is Spanish equivalent. Saves a lot of wonga.

Nave Pegos is brilliant, but you may want to cover your boat with something. I collected a boat for delivery from there and it had been well and truly sand blasted.

The same on the moorings, seems half the Sahara gets dumped on us in SE winds and rain
