Our Marina has sent details of a BoatScrubber offer. Paint is free, the marina contributes £200 towards the first years cost. You get as many scrubs as you want - indeed you must have one every 8 weeks from April to Sept. They inspect every year and replace anodes (you supply) either by a lift or by divers.

What does the panel think?

have this picture of your boat with only masts above water and bloke with old anode in hand saying "we got a new anode on her" ....

does this regime not assume that you have no a/f? indeed, will only be economic if that's so because frequent scrubbings will knock it off? That was the justification given by our lot (Gosport)

There's a few of them here in Essex , I wouldn't take them up on their offer unless you want to catch something nasty./forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
