Boating weather!!! Lots of pix!

Good to see that you made the best of it - maybe Torbay next year then?
And maybe meet up with you as well.

Good to see the old girl again - if only pics of her cockpit.

Not rubbing it in but I'm typing this in Valencia.
We have decided that its too windy to go back to base tomorrow - at least an F3 !!! so will probably exlore the city a while longer and then go back via the Columbrettes.

Can't remember who said that any voyage in a boat should be described as heading for somewhere rather than being guaranteed to get to the destination. But it looks like everyone had a great time and that must count as a success. Plymouth isn't going to disappear in the short term so there'll be plenty more chances to head that way.

Pix are brilliant. And I'm sure I speak for everyone in saying that yes, of course we'd all like some more of the Red Arrows shots.

Thanks for posting, fantastic pics and great looking boats (and planes)!

Not being familiar with jets, I was wondering about those flaps on the backs of the planes. They seem to be sticking out at an awfully steep angle considering the speed !?

Airbrakes - used by the Arrows, I think, to "trim" the speed of the aircraft slightly if they need to drop a few knots during a manoeuvre.
