Boating Knowledge Apps

I’m looking for an app with general boating knowledge. Things like day markers, lights, sound signals, abbreviations, Beaufort Scale, etc. Extra points if it is easily/quickly searchable .

This one, it still works when you are offshore with no phone data, a flat battery or cold wet fingers on the touch screen

If I was spending a lot less time in the cockpit and was studying for a DS in my lunch break or on the commute, I might accept the idea of an app, but the book would still appeal to me for future reference afloat as well as a study aid in the short term.

The Reeds handbook is a superb collection of knowledge to refer back to. Has the advantage that what you were looking for often turns out to be right next to the bit you really wanted but didn't think to ask.

Marine Collision Regulations - Bitmetric.

Full colregs (searchable) with explanation and interpretation if needed.

I can't remember if it cost anything, but if it did it wasn't much.

Really good app.
