Boat Wiring Simplify and Upgrade - Beneteau Antares

OK, connect the mains charger and the Cristec unit to the battery side of the isolators and fuse all connections at source to protect the wiring.
understood, will 40A suffice for the alternator/Cristec? Not sure what the alternator output is on a D4 Penta.

Was going to use Midi fuses where it connects to the isolators, or by "at source" do you mean where the cable exits from the Cristec and mains charger?

Cheers

Source was a bad choice of wording, in this case the fuses should go close to the isolators, as they are there to protect the wiring. 40A midi fuses are fine for the 30A charger. The alternators will be in excess of 100A, you can just fuse for the wiring here, what size is it ?

Would also like to replace this relay which is showing sings of scorching on one of the terminals. Anyone know what the modern equivalent is?

Finished this job a few weeks back but have been distracted with now stripping and refurbing heat exchangers on both engines

Anyway, this is the final bit - fitting the midi fuses to the house battery

Couple more bits of housekeeping needed on the instrument panel wiring but this is the big job finished. Many thanks to @PaulRainbow for your advice along the way (y)
