Hi
Feeling a little lazy this year!
Can anyone recommend a boat valeting service in the Plymouth area?
Looking to get the boat polished when it comes out in March.
Also interested to know roughly how much it would cost to polish a 36" yacht.

Cheers
Tony

You could try Francis Morris - FM Marine Services, but beware, he is always busy and will probably be fully booked for March by now... Fran's number is 07745 284569.
If its mostly GRP Polishing you could try GRP Services, also great for any GRP Repairs - Paul 07773 781997

Why not do it yourself? How hard can it be to clean and polish a yacht that's 3 feet long? Sorry, I couldn't resist......

There is a company in QAB that does that, sorry forgot the name.

Doing my own boat is hard enough, doing other peoples boats would do my head in.
There is Fast Tack who have a portacabin in the QAB yard just up from the slipway behind the university building

It’s about £400 for the hull and same again for the top and cockpit.

That sounds about right. I can wash, polish and wax my 37ft boat in about a day and a half by hand. I doubt that a professional would necessarily wax as well as polish.
