Inca and I were playing paint scraping tomorrow but looking at forecast, decided to do Boat Show instead. Don't suppose any peeps will be from the East Coast mud will be there?

I'm not quite a geograhical east coaster but will be dropping by the guiness bar tomorrow afternoon. Might be heading mudwards soon so some local knowledge would be nice if you fancy a pint :)

Will be wandering about with the dog. Two years ago be attacked one of the security dogs. I reckon he thought it was an imposter guide dog! Gave the security blokes a good laugh but I was so embarrassed. So if you see a VI bloke, middle aged, beared and guide dog, please say hello. Like a drop of the black stuff too.

Steve, do go to the Old gaffers stand, they said they were looking forward to meeting you! (that is if it's the same lady as today).

Very busy this afternoon, took me four visits to the Garmin stand before I could get some advice, so many others there. I took a print out of Marinesuperstore's price for a Garmin 750 and they (the Garmin stand) dropped their price by £75, £25 under the Marinesuperstore price.

Thanks Ian. Was planning to visit OGA stand anyway. I got my OGA burgee today and it is a bit small, so was hoping to upgrade to a 15" version!

Beats working! Shame you went today, would have been good to meet up.

All the best

Conachair, we found the Guinness stand OK but had towable early due to inclement weather. I thought the show no worse or better than two years ago when I last went. Got offered a look round a Sunseeker (do I look like a prospective customer?), change my burgee and generally nosed about. Brought a nice book on Gaffers and promptly left it on the train, and that without a drop of Guinness.

So got out without spending too much, but have
Nothing to show for what little I spent (£29) plus enters fe fee/train ticket. Well worth it!

Steve .................. you plonker dont you know that people who travel by train wont have a clue what a gaffer is!!!! ;)

I almost got to say hello.
I came nose to nose with Inca on the stairs to the loos. Inca's nose won!
It wasn't a good place to stop for a chat.

What a pity, a chat would have been good. Never mind. Incas nose is infamous, some of the places he has stuck it are best forgotten. The young female waitress in a short skirt springs to mind! Nuff said.
