Going later today and wonder a) should I dress up and get invited to view lots of expensive goodies or b) dress down and be left alone to look at what I want without being hastled but with the possibilty of being refused access to some of the more expensive displays?

Also would a false beard help?

I attended last year sporting a pair of ripped jeans and an "I'm with this idiot" T shirt and a Burberry cap.

The fun is to convince the perma tans in the smoke boat section that you are eccentric millionaires.

Dress how you like. If you didn't go on the first day you won't be treated as a serious boat buyer, and all the bargains will have gone by now.

When I went last year i worried about getting off at the right underground stations.

Neednt have worried you just follow the tide of battered deck shoes ,breton caps and yacht club sweatshirts. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Does this explain the number of scruffs in the raggie hall trying to look like they have just left Ellen to carry on the trip alone. Have a wash and please change into the other set of oilskins next time please. You are kidding no one.

Everyone knows that anyone in a suit is an employee and all those with money have patches on their trousers. Never dress up to impress people in the marine industry!
