Are there Canadian or U. S. citizens out there who have experience with, re-registration and/or the purchase of a boat in Mexico.

I am a Canadian who's looking at purchasing a boat lying in Baja, Mexico. One of my choices is in U. S. registry the other is Mexican.

Any experience you might have in this regard would be appreciated.
