Half a year ago I posted this thread with the very same title.
Rather appropriately, since the summer was beaconing, it was focused on mad fast boats.
Now, I just came across another interesting video, which inspired me a sequel of that thread.
But this time - again in sync with the season - the subject is VERY different.

A somewhat boring/slow video in places, but overall worth checking out imho, particularly for some construction insights.
Those attracted by the thread title who are looking for a fast hardcore shot can jump to 5:40.
I kind of regret not being able to afford something like that because of that e/r alone...

Further pornographic contributions along the same lines are welcome, as always!

PS: this is indeed a case of "don't judge a book by its cover", if I've ever seen one.
God only knows what the owner had smoked, when he asked for that hull colour...

Well, at this size it mostly depends on how many guests are onboard, I reckon.
For strictly moving around and parking the thing, I would think that a couple of experienced crew members plus the captain should be enough.

As an aside (not talking to you now, but rather at the other 380+ viewers), talk about being a bunch of naughty boaters!
The previous thread on the Cigarette inspired several replies and further contributions.
How is it that real seagoing vessels like this are now going so unnoticed...?

I stumbled across that vid a weeks or so ago P. Yes, green paint aside, it is beautiful. That Northrop and Johnson guy drives me crazy though. He talks total crap and by the time he painfully reaches the second half a sentence he has forgotten what was in the first half. If a better presenter had been involved we could have learned so much more than that the engines sit on rubber feet, like every other boat from a beneteau 25 footer upwards. It was such a pity not to hear more proper info on the boat.

At 2:45 he calls Ms Tomb Raider Laura Croft. I despair. Bring back your mate Maurizio Bulleri - all is forgiven!

Yup, agreed wholeheartedly. In some ways, a video like this is lost opportunity, for CdM.
Also because I can't figure anyone interested in these boats that isn't also interested in what is under the skin, but... Hey-ho!

I was intrigued for instance (among several other things) by those electrical panels labelled either "220 VAC 60Hz" or "220/127 VAC 60Hz".
It would have been interesting to ask about them to that chap and hear his explanations!

CdM is a great yard, and since started IMo they have not missed a beat in the genre.

Love what they are doing with explorer type super yachts. Quality wise they have nothing less to the Dutch as well.

Agree about the green paint, should have been navy blue. As for Maurizio, I always get the impression that he would run off with your daughter when your back was turned! He is good in the videos though.
