My earlier post discussions about inboard or outboard has me now thinking diesel has advantages over petrol. The Merry Fisher 790 is pretty much right for us first timers. Any advice on similar diesel makes/models to research?
Looks nice but we want a cabin style for the UK weather.Lots of 805’s about, so more choice and probably easier to find a diesel. Not sure if an 805 can be legally towed?
When I looked last week there was only one in the Uk for sale. The same one that’s been for sale for over a year...whatever the reason.Lots of 805’s about, so more choice and probably easier to find a diesel. Not sure if an 805 can be legally towed?
Seems a rare boat in UK. Looking for single engine but they appear to be twin. Very nice boat, just right.Take a look at a starfisher 840.
Yes you would have to travel to France or Spain to get one. I have a single engine version, and it’s a peach of a boat with great sea keeping manners.Seems a rare boat in UK. Looking for single engine but they appear to be twin. Very nice boat, just right.
Especially if you can negotiate the vat into the deal!Yes I see only 1 - however worth keeping an eye out.
Some foreign boats seem well priced though, I know you have the 20% VAT to add, but still may be good value even then.
